🧩 Grammar Tip
We use look like + noun/pronoun to talk about similar or not-so-similar physical features.
Examples:
I don’t look like my mother because she has dark brown eyes and she’s short.
I look like my father. We’re both blond and tall.
Next up is What are you like?
When we ask a person ‘What are you like?’ We want to know about their personality. Here we use the verb ‘to be’ and adjectives.
Example A: John, what is your grandmother like? B: Ummm… I she’s very energetic and talkative. She’s not like me. I am quiet and I’m also a bit lazy.
