Let me introduce you to a young couple. In this video we are going to watch what Jenny usually does on her working days. She works in an office as an accountant. While you are watching the video, write down what you see.

As you have seen on the video, you must use your imagination and write what you think her husband does during a working day. Write and compare with your classmates. By the way, Jenny’s husband is called Geoffrey and here are some clues.

Comparative adjectives

Time for a little bit of grammar! Here we are going to revise comparative adjectives.

Remember that the rules are:

• Short adjectives like ‘nice’ + er. Example: Tom’s garden is nicer than mine.
• Short adjectives that end in ‘y’ usually change the ‘y’ for an ‘i’ and add -er. Example: Jane is happier at work than her brother because she can walk to work.
• Longer adjectives ‘more’ + adjective.
